The 15 Laws of Growth cheat sheet, a single page listing all fifteen Laws with a one-sentence summary of each

What it is

One page. Fifteen Laws. Each one in a sentence you can read in the time it takes to pour coffee.

John Maxwell spent decades on what separates the people who reach their potential from the people who don't. The book is worth your time. But a book lives on a shelf, and a shelf is a long way from Monday morning.

This is the short version. It isn't a summary of the book and it isn't a replacement for it. It's fifteen names and fifteen plain sentences, laid out so you can see all of them at once — which is the one thing a book can't do.

Who it is for

  • Anyone who read the book and can't remember which Law was which.
  • Anyone who hasn't read it and wants to know what the fuss is about before they commit.
  • Anyone who'd rather have one thing on the wall than fifteen things in a notebook.

How to use it

This part is printed on the sheet itself, because it's the part people skip:

Don't try to fix all 15 at once — that's a good way to fix none of them. Pick the one that stings a little when you read it. Start there.

The stinging is the useful part. It usually means you already know something about yourself that you've been busy not thinking about. That's one Law, not fifteen, and one is enough to be getting on with.

Print it

It's built for US Letter and it fits on one page on purpose. Print it and put it somewhere you'll see it without meaning to. The fridge. The inside of a cabinet door. The wall behind your monitor. A sheet in a drawer is just paper.

The sheet is step one. Step two is the free Wednesday session, where we take two of these Laws and actually work them.
